{Las Vegas Senior Photographer | Kingman Senior Photographer} Maya, Jessica, & Hanna Jo – AKA Lots of Eye Candy

In case you hadn’t heard, I am excited to announce that I now offer mentoring services that include one-on-one in person lessons on working with natural light and your environment as well as online editing classes.  Megan flew out from Missouri to visit me last month and we had an amazing time!  Check out her Facebook page and leave her some love!  We covered working with natural light, achieving three-dimensional directional lighting, creating variety utilizing a small location (the first 11 sets of images were all taken within 100ft of each other), back lighting, flattering, purposeful posing, post-processing, communicating with your subject, and so, so much more.  If you’d like to discuss the ins and outs of a personal mentoring session with me, please e-mail me…I’d love to work with you too!

We spent Saturday shooting two full sessions…a senior inspired session in the early a.m., and a family session in the p.m.  Sunday was jam packed with post-processing work – it was non-stop learning all weekend!  We had the most gorgeous, fun, and amazing models!  I’ve worked with Maya before, but this was the first time I’ve worked with Miss Jessica and Hanna Jo.  I don’t think we could have been blessed with better models in either of these shoots!  These girls were up bright an early and ready to start shooting at 6 a.m. to get that amazing early morning light.  Despite it being a hot summer day here in Arizona, there was a lot of learning going on, friendships being forged, and amazing pictures being captured.  It was a weekend packed with all kinds of fabulous.  I was so sad when it was over and hope to do it again soon!

Attention 2013 seniors…if you are reading this by chance, give me a call.  My fall schedule is already filling up, but I LOVE shooting senior sessions and you deserve nothing but the absolute best.  You won’t find images like this with any of the other photographers in this area.  Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that ‘cheap’ is the way to go…you get what you pay for, and ‘cheap’ pictures tend to look…well…cheap.  I stand alone in my vision, quality, technical expertise, and artistry.  You will have a one of a kind experience like no other and have amazing pictures to commemorate this time in your life that will last for generations.  You’re only a senior once!  Let me take pictures of you that you are PROUD to show off!  Give me a call at 928-681-7096 and make sure you have ZERO regrets about the quality and artistry of your senior photos.  I run senior specials often, so e-mail me for a current price list or to inquire about current specials and availability.

The light at 6 a.m. is YUMMY.  I may need to become more of a morning person because I was just blown away by the quality of the light in these pictures!  Not that the gorgeous girls hurt either…haha

Check out this pullback of Miss Megan working hard and getting the shot!  The image on the right is one I captured of the same setup…it’s amazing what you can do with a small, unassuming looking location! Miss Jessica rocking her red dress.  STUNNING! Did someone mention a teal staircase?  I’m all over that like a cat on a mouse!  You know me and my teal/turquoise obsession!  This particular spot happens to only work in the a.m. hours…yet another reason to start getting out of bed in the morning to go shooting!  There is SO much you can do with stairs too…big bonus! One of my absolute fave locations…and yes…a turquoise chair. ;)  I couldn’t resist.

Thank you again girls for making this an amazing shoot…you were all FABULOUS!  Send your senior friends at school may way so they get nothing less than the best this year!  Megan, it was WONDERFUL meeting and working with you!  I had a blast and truly feel like I’ve made a new friend. :)
