Welcome everyone! I’m so excited to have a fresh new blog! I’m currently on a break for the winter (unless you need a newborn session…if so, please get in touch with me!), so what better time to spruce things up around here for the new year. I look forward to my 2010 sessions!
To kick off my new blog, I figured I would do a post commemorating some of my favorite images from 2009, both client, and personal. It’s been a wonderful, fulfilling year! To my awesome clients, I’ve had so much fun meeting you! Thank you so much for letting me play a small part in your lives. You’ve all been amazing. To my own family, thank you for putting up with the endless ideas and ‘test runs’ I’ve inflicted on you. I wouldn’t be able to do it without you!
This was SO hard to narrow down as I’ve had many favorites from each session, but I wanted to limit this to my top 20.
Without further ado, my top 20 favorite images of 2009…
I love this shot of my daughter taken in the forest. This was just weeks before her first birthday.

The birth of my new baby girl, Octavia, was an obvious highlight to my year. Here is one of my favorite newborn photos of her.

The first photo of my little group of 8 together…

Daddy & newborn Octavia

The next 2 photos are probably 2 of my all time top 10 favorite pictures I’ve ever taken. My oldest and youngest. He was peed on twice during this session (haha!) and I had to fork over some cash for said peeing, but the results are well worth it!

My oldest daughter, Calista, taken with some fun new equipment…

A re-creation of Octavia’s newborn photo, taken at 4 months of age. Don’t you dig the little bit of drool?

I’m all about fun costumes!

The next 10 photos are favorites from my client sessions this year. I wish I could post more…it was so hard to choose! From a desert maternity session, to monsoon storms during a family shoot, to the Masche sextuplets (all sitting in one place at the same time! hehe), to a beautiful senior, to a baby in a flowered cap…there’s a bit of everything here. I hope you enjoyed my walk down memory lane as much as I did!
